Love lives here.
We’ve been helping the most vulnerable for 25 years. Siena House provides an environment of health, stability, and support to mothers and their babies so that new families can start off on the right foot. Our participants have access to resources and programs that put them on the path to self-sufficiency and independence, while emphasizing their well-being.
We provide 24/7 care for our mothers and babies. Here are just some of our costs.
Our Funding
Siena House is a non-profit, public benefit corporation, and receives little government funding. Financial support is obtained through tax-deductible donations from private individuals, organizations, and fund-raising events. Donations from caring community members like you enable us to continue this important work. Please donate today.
Our Founding
In 2000, Wayne Shaffer brought members of the community together to create a safe, nurturing home where women and their babies could thrive. His tireless work has positively impacted the lives of countless women and children over the years.
Our Commitment
We are committed to transparency. Our governing documents and most recent tax return are available here:
